Introduction

This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your donation (“Donation”) to the Masonic Foundation of the District of Columbia, a 501(c)(3) exempt private foundation (“Organization”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a not-for-profit organization. By making a Donation, you (“Donor”, “you”, “your”) agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.

Donation Use and Restrictions

Purpose of Donation: Your Donation will be used to support the Organization’s mission as described on our website and promotional materials. We reserve the right to allocate funds as necessary to advance our goals effectively.

Restrictions: Donations are not refundable. No specific restrictions or designations made on this Donation will be honored.

Donor Privacy

Collection of Information: We collect necessary personal information from you to process your Donation and provide you with acknowledgment of your Donation for tax purposes.

Use of Personal Information: Your personal information will be used only for purposes related to your Donation and as required by law. We will not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for promotional purposes.

Anonymity: If you wish your Donation to remain anonymous, please indicate so at the time of your Donation. We will endeavor to honor your request to the extent that it is practicable for us to do so.

Acknowledgment and Tax Receipts

Acknowledgment: We will provide you with an acknowledgment of your Donation for your records. The acknowledgment will include the amount of the Donation, and, if applicable, a statement regarding any goods or services provided by us in exchange for the Donation.

Tax Receipts: Tax receipts will be issued in accordance with applicable law. It is your responsibility to determine your eligibility to claim a deduction for your Donation.

General Provisions

Amendments: We reserve the right to amend this Agreement at any time. Your continued support of our Organization by making additional Donations following such amendments constitutes your acceptance of the amendments.

Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the District of Columbia in the United States of America, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.

Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be resolved through mediation, if possible, or otherwise through litigation in the courts of the District of Columbia.

Severability: If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that this Agreement shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

By making a Donation to the Masonic Foundation of the District of Columbia, you acknowledge that you have read this Agreement, understand it, and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.
