About Us

The Masonic Foundation provides scholarships to eligible students graduating from a District of Columbia public or charter school with good academic standing (minimum 3.0 GPA). In addition, applicants must show evidence of community service, involvement in school and community activities, and evidence of financial need.

The Foundation is totally funded by voluntary gifts and endowments from Freemasons, their families, and friends.

Leadership

We will seek diverse leaders that will provide their time, talent, and treasures, and that possess the skills and expertise to steward and further the resources of the Foundation.

Programs

We will enrich the lives of residents of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area by supporting charitable, educational, and scientific programs.

Funding

We will increase the financial resources of the Foundation to enhance our charitable initiatives.

Communications

We will ensure the purpose and value of the Foundation is clearly understood by all.

The Craft

We will continue to be a resource for District of Columbia Masons and for the advancement of Freemasonry.
